TEAM Youth “adopted” a classroom of first-grade students from Lincoln Elementary school in Warren, Michigan in 2001 and will follow this group through high school graduation in 2013. The program, which includes ongoing tutoring, mentoring and enrichment opportunities, expanded in 2005 to include the entire grade of more than 50 students. This non-profit 501(c)(3) organization was founded by a group of families at St. Blase Parish in Sterling Heights, Michigan and today includes many dedicated volunteers with a mission to change the world, one child at a time.
